We Receive Christ by Personal Invitation

Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him." (Revelation 3:20)

Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (repentance)
and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins
and to make us the kind of people He wants us to be.

Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God
and that He died on the cross for our sins is not enough.

Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience.

We receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of will.

"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
(Romans 10:9-10)

You can receive Christ right now by faith
through prayer (talking with God).

God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. The following is a suggested prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and that You rose from the grave. I now turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I receive You as my personal Savior and follow You as my Lord. Make me the kind of a person that you want me to be. Amen."

Does this prayer express the desire of your heart?

If it does, pray this prayer right now and Jesus Christ will come into your life, just as He promised.

Living for Jesus Christ is a life long process and He is the One who can give you peace beyond understanding no matter what circumstances are going on around you.

If you have sincerely prayed this prayer from your heart, you are now saved and born again and on your way to heaven! Praise God!
Born
Again?
Saved?

Does God Really Love Me?
What Does
That Mean?
We would like for each and every individual that reads this to understand the meaning of born again and saved.

Some of you have heard these terms in conversation but did not know what the individual was talking about.

Some of you reading this are putting on a front for people but are really tired of life's' ups and downs and there is a void in your life that you can't fill.

Something is missing in your life like love, peace and joy.

The way to fill that void in your life comes only from Jesus Christ.
We try to get through to God by being a good person by our own efforts such as living a good life or using some kind of religion or being nice to people but that doesn't work because that's not God's way.

There is only one way to get through to God and experience Gods love and plan for our lives and that is by way of His Son (Jesus Christ).

Jesus Christ (the Son of God) died on a cross for our sins.

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)

Jesus is the Only Way to God.

"Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me." (John 14:6)

There is no other name (Jesus Christ) under heaven given among men by which we
must be saved (Acts 4:12)

Jesus Christ rose from the dead and is alive today.

"Christ died for our sins... He was buried... He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures... He appeared to Peter, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred" (I Corinthians 15:3-6)

To be born again or saved and on our way to heaven, we must individually Receive Jesus Christ as Savior (believing that Jesus died on the cross for our sins) & Lord (master) of our life.

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name" (John 1:12)

It takes faith (hope without seeing) to Receive Jesus Christ.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Jesus told us in John 3:3 "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he (or she) cannot see the kingdom of God."

There is a new spiritual birth that takes place in a person
when they truly receive  Jesus into their heart as their
personal Savior and Lord.

"I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water (regenerating work of the Spirit is compared to water/ the spirit is cleansed like water) and the Spirit (meaning the new spiritual birth in the Spirit of God by asking Him to come into your life.)  Do not be surprised when I say you must be born again. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit."
See (John 3:1-8)

Jesus Christ is the only way to bridges the gap
between sinful man and a Holy God!

First of all know that God loves you
and wants the very best for you.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16

"For I know the plans that I have for you," says the Lord "
to give you a future and to give you a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

Jesus said, "I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly" John 10:10
Man was created to have fellowship with God. Until we come to know God, there is a void in our lives and we are separated from God because of our sinful nature.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

"For the wages (result) of sin is death" Romans 6:23
(meaning a spiritual separation from God)
